Totally Enclosed Air Over (TEAO) motor
enclosures do not allow free air flow through
the motor. Air Over means the motor is mounted
in the air stream that cools it. Think in terms
of a direct drive fan mounted directly on the
motor shaft. Motor cooling is achieved by
convection. Care must be taken in using these
motors in hot environments.
